Autumn is officially upon us! Which means it’s time to put the summer stuff away and plan our winter wardrobes. So when The Quadrant, Swansea invited us as a family to come and see what they had in their stores it came at the perfect time.
We headed straight to Debenhams as they have so much choice for the whole family including a small, well stocked toy department.
Lee was looking for a light weight jacket and wanted to try a denim jacket as this is something he doesn’t actually own. He tried two, the first was a Levis which was lined with sheep skin, really nice but a little warmer than he wanted but he purchased the second which was this Red Herring, mid wash one.

Red Herring Denim Jacket with detachable borg collar £45
Lily was in need of those winter necessities; a big warm coat & wellies. Whilst still in Debenhams we headed up to the girl’s Ted Baker section, one of my favourite brands for Lily, their pieces are so pretty and feminine and always get lots of comments. She absolutely loved this coat from the minute we tried it on her, particularly the matching mittens.
We then made our way to Schuh for Lily to try on some new Hunter wellies, the staff were so helpful; offering to measure her feet and checking their system to see what colours they had available in her size, they even gave her a balloon which she was delighted with. Due to the fact they didn’t have any pink in stock yet (due in January 2019) we went with this beautiful baby blue glitter pair which I felt complemented her new Ted Baker coat.

Ted Baker Coat £55 (Debenhams) & Hunter Wellies £40 (Schuh)
The only thing I really need at the moment is a sensible light weight coat with a hood, which I’m still searching for but I found so many things I loved, particularly within the Nine by Savannah Miller range at Debenhams. This Khaki Parka Coat with Faux Fur Lined Hood was literally like wearing a duvet, so cosy and practical for every day wear. I thought this Faux Leather Star Studded Jacket was a great statement piece to pair with jeans and a basic tee but its fit is short & slim so it may be a struggle to get a jumper underneath as we get into those colder months. A must have item this winter is a bright knit and I fell in love with this Dusky Pink Pointelle Jumper, which also comes in grey and purple. Although I was tempted to go for the classic grey it didn’t have the same wow factor.

Nine by Savannah Miller Khaki Parka with Faux Fur Lined Hood £120

Nine by Savannah Miller Black Faux Leather Star Studded Jacket £79.00

Nine by Savannah Miller Duksy Pink Pointelle Jumper £45.00
Another item I’d say is a must for Autumn, while we can still bear to have our ankles out, is a pair of trainers and I love this pair of Gucci dupes I found in New Look for £19.99, unfortunately I can’t find them online. Style with a jumpsuit for an effortless look (also New Look).

Khaki Utility Jumpsuit £34.99 & Trainers £19.99 both New Look
No trip to The Quadrant would be complete these days without a stop at Krispy Kreme, Lily’s first. She demolished her strawberry glazed doughnut in minutes!
Hope you all enjoyed reading & happy Autumn shopping/organising.
