Saturday was my first day out with the girls since Lily was born…Nine and a half months ago!

I was SO excited to get dressed up & wear heels in the day time and to be able to use a clutch bag!!!

As I walked from the car park to the restaurant I felt extremely odd. No rucksack, no pram, no Lily. Eek! Once I got chatting to the girls I relaxed & I was enjoying talking about things other than maternity bras & how difficult it is to get mushed broccoli off the floor!

What made my afternoon though was getting pictures & videos through of Lily having the best time with Daddy. They make my heart melt.

I then felt totally relaxed so I ordered a coffee after lunch & enjoyed another hour of girly chat.

A lovely afternoon celebrating my friend’s birthday & easing me back into time on my own.
